I've been waiting for awhile to read this book...okay, since September and I couldn't wait to get into it. Repairman Jack has to be one of my all time favorite series! A post about it is coming soon to a blog near you....really, it is!

Now this is a sight that warms my heart! My kids reading with their Papa (though the book that Gavin has is a little beyond his comprehension but he wants to be like his sister and read Warriors too!)

Project 365 - Day 80: A Tana Shot!

Some good pics to choose from today but I chose one that Tana took of her brother. He plunked himself down on the couch to read a Froggy book all on his own!

Project 365 - Day 49: Lazy Sunday!

It's 3:40 on Sunday afternoon and Gavin says to me "What are we doing today, don't we have any plans?" Nope, this is about it buddy. Sometimes you just need those days at home where you read, watch some tv, place some games and putter around. This was one of those days.

Project 365 - Day 38: Couch Potatoes!

Here's how our time was spent before the kids went to bed. They'd had friends over and were busy playing but when they left, we chilled out and watched the end of the Habs game (they lost 3-1), did some reading, and headed off to bed. The kids, not us.

Eye Update: Its not infected but there is a "stye" on the inside of the lower lid pressing on the eye and causing the discomfort. I have drops and towelettes which will hopefully take care of the problem and if not, off to my specialist I go!

Project 365 - Day 26: Reading not beating...

... a dead horse. I had thought of posting a picture that depicted our wonderful weather of the last couple of days but ah, decided not to do that.

Instead something which means a bit more. My son reading with his Dad. "Where's My Hockey Sweater" seems to be his new favorite and you know what? He can actually *read* it and we are so pleased about this. We were getting a little worried about his lack of reading but he seems to be enjoying it more and that's just what we want to see!

Project 365 - Day 23: Published!

So my girl's in print!! We came home today to an envelope in the mail addressed to our girl from Owl magazine. Also in the mail was her latest Owl magazine. When she opened it up (she's always excited to get mail) it was a certificate and a Chickadee magazine. One of her drawings had been published in one of the issues! Yay Tana. The blue dog in the picture is her drawing. We have a celebrity in our midst!

Project 365 - Day 3: Book Worm

Here's my girl with her nose buried in a book as she often is. Like Mother, like daughter. I took a couple of pictures at different times of the day and put them together to make one.

And, today, I was able to purchase some divider pages. I got the W R Memory Keepers dividers for a 3 ring binder. Now, if only I could get a hold of the 7 Gypsies Naked Binder to use, I'd be in business. In Canada, hard to get a hold of.
